William and Agnes Loghrin:  The homestead was lot 25, con. 2.  Lot 24, con. 2 and lot 25, con. 1 were owned for a long time by William and his descendants.  William's holdings included lot 29, con. 3 from 1833 to 1835 for a total of 780 acres.  In 1838 James is shown to be the owner of lot 25, con. 1.

James McCullough married Ann Loghrin, another daughter of  William and Agnes.  James' father, Patrick, settled on the west half of lot 15, con. 3;  he was established in 1829 as he had 7 acres cultivated and a variety of livestock.  James farmed 100 acres across the road on the east half of lot 15, con. 2.
