The pattern of having a tasty meal at midday and a light one in the evening began at the Harbor House Grille in Grand Marais on day one!  Weight loss was an unexpected benefit of this relaxed regime.
The sign for the museum was visible from the fuel station so, since neither of us knew much about sugarbeets, we investigated.  The building was locked when we arrived, but a willing guide soon arrived and taught us about sugarbeets in the Crookston area.  Several area farmers set up the  Red River Valley Sugarbeet Museum; it was well worth stopping.
